(RD25) RD25 - We unpack the frame parts.

Published: Sat Apr 14 2012

Well the box was kind of squashed:

but the contents were not damaged at all

Most of the components came is strong bags that oddly enough were all cut open, I think they actually count parts to make sure,

Regardless all components seem to be there, only a finished build will confirm that.

The laser cut composite parts have protective paper on them like on plexiglass, but to avoid glue they use a water based adhesive so parts need a quick soak, then the paper comes off. word of advice, do not scrape and soak 5 minutes in warm water, not cold for 1 minute as it says, use a soft scrub brush not your finger nail or a coin as this will scratch the composite.

If you follow my advice parts come out very nice.

The laser engraved shows its made by FunJet with their logo and identifies the model number on the other end.

Thats it until I build it.
