While Cloning
Get Started
- soak rockwool plugs in water (5.5 PH is optimal)
- Have empty cup of water (5.5 PH is optimal) for cut stems
- Larger leaves mean faster rooting, take a top, or a near bottom branch
- Cut 1 - There should be a couple of nodes below the top of your chosen cutting leave extra, you will make cut 2 at the node.
- Place immediately into water
- Cut 2 - Cut at 45 degrees
- Scrape - Irritate the stem above the cut with a knife
- Back to the water, rinse and wet again.
- Add rooting powder
- Set into semi-open rockwool plug, close then
- Push clone down into plug
- set plug into a spot in the cloning tray
- ensure water levels are good
- fully close and add light - 24h
- check on day 1
- day 3 open for a minute
- day 4 open for 10 mins and leave vents at 25%
- Day 5 Open for 15 minutes and leave vents at 50%
